QA Test Architect – AI-Assisted Automation & Cloud SaaS Solutions Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA Test Architect to design, implement, and lead a
comprehensive quality strategy for our cloud-native SaaS transformation initiatives. This role demands
expertise in modern test automation frameworks, containerized environments, cloud testing, and the
use of Productive AI tools (e.g., Testim, mabl, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate and enhance
testing cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
● Define and own the overall test architecture, QA strategy, and automation roadmap for SaaS
and cloud-native applications.
● Architect scalable automation frameworks for API testing, UI testing, integration testing, and
performance testing using modern Python/JavaScript tools.
● Implement AI-assisted testing tools like Testim.io, mabl, GitHub Copilot for test generation, or
ChatGPT-based test plan drafting.
● Design and lead shift-left testing strategies, integrating quality gates early in CI/CD pipelines
(Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
● Create robust test automation for microservices, containerized apps (Docker/K8s), and
cloud-native features.
● Ensure high test coverage across backend APIs (.NET), frontend (React), and AI-powered
components (chatbots, AI APIs, vector databases).
● Define and manage performance testing, load testing, security testing, and resilience testing
strategies for SaaS solutions.
● Introduce and enforce testing standards, best practices, and code quality gates across dev and
QA teams.
● Mentor QA engineers, automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python/JS), and bring AI tools to
maximize productivity.
● Report on test metrics, defect trends, and product quality indicators at all stages of
development.
Required Skills:
● 8+ years of experience in QA/test automation and at least 3+ years as a Test Architect.
● Expertise in automation frameworks: Selenium, Katalon, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
● Strong experience with API testing (Postman, REST-assured) and backend validation.
● Familiarity with AI-driven testing platforms (Testim.io, mabl, or Scriptless Automation tools).
● Practical use of GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other Productive AI for test script acceleration.
● Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and with Kubernetes-based
deployments.
● Solid understanding of containerized application testing, microservices, and distributed system
validation.
● Hands-on with performance testing tools: JMeter, k6, Artillery, Locust.
● Proficient with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and integration of test suites (e.g., Jenkins, Azure
DevOps, GitHub Actions).
● Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence product, dev, and QA teams.
● Experience testing AI/ML integrated features, conversational UIs, or intelligent APIs.
● Knowledge of IaC testing (Terraform validation), security posture validation.
● Experience with contract testing (e.g., Pact.io) for microservices.
● Exposure to self-healing automation frameworks and test stability improvements using AI/ML.
